"Because the base note is the scent that lasts the longest on the skin, it mixes most deeply with the wearer's body chemistry." ~ Scents & Sensibilities

Imagine the scent of French Nougat with a chocolate coating and you have the scent of Lush's delicious fruity chocolate buttercream. The Lush Buttercreams are a blend of 85% skin softening oil and butters blended with 15% soap. So, you get lots of lovely oils to soften your skin and this one also has a delicious "this must be edible" fragrance.

You might like using this after a bath, smooth is all over and then rinse off with a quick shower. This seals in moisture and is made with wonderful ingredients like orange juice, Rhassoul Mud, Jojoba Oil, Cocoa Butter, Orange Blossom Infusion, Sweet Orange Oil and Tangerine Oil.

This also is made with Vanilla Absolute and Cocoa Absolute. Both are often used as base notes in perfume.

Heavenly Bodies Buttercream by LUSH Feature

  • Extra conditioning and moisturizing cleanser
  • Delicious chocolate fragrance
If the though of washing yourself all over in soft chocolatey soap makes your heart skip a beat, Heavenly Bodies is the one for you. We put heaps of cocoa butter in to soften your skin, cleansing rhassoul mud and a hint of fresh orange juice to gently tone. Take a decadent piece out and lather all over; you'll feel as though you're bathing with a chocolate truffle but you'll come out clean and smelling divine. Heavenly. Note: This product may melt and is NOT guaranteed to arrive solid during the summer months!

MOLDY. - ilex q. - lust comes into phaze
was really, really disappointed that this producted developed MOLD on it, not long after i bought it. have read similar reviews of it molding over on LUSH's website. i am a complete LUSH junky, and i love the smell and texture of this stuff, so i was really sad that it got moldy (even after scraping off the moldy orange and storing it in the fridge - i was desperate to not feel bad about this product!). i hope they fix this formula soon. it was a good idea that didn't work.
